Competitions and Results
Encouraging our swimmers to participate in various competitions and Open Meets throughout the year.
We encourage our swimmers to participate in various events throughout the year, including the Wiltshire County Championships, Age Groups and Sprints, Open Meets and our own Club Championships.
Taking part in competitions are a valuable learning opportunity, allowing swimmers to test new skills developed in practice, highlight potential areas for improvement and ultimately bond in an exciting team environment.
Throughout each season we attend selected open meets and competitions appropriate to swimmers abilities and stages of their development.
Club Championships
Our annual Club Championships in November gives our swimmers the opportunity to participate in a total of 17 events from 50m butterfly to 1500m freestyle.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
Our annual Club Championships in November gives our swimmers the opportunity to participate in a total of 17 events from 50m butterfly to 1500m freestyle. This gives the children a great opportunity to show parents and fellow swimmers how they have developed during the year.
We then celebrate the swimmers successes at our annual presentation and social evening in the Spring.
This year over 240 people enjoyed watching swimmers from 7 years old through to adults receive over 1200 medals, trophies and awards.
OpenĀ Meets
Open meets are swimming events licensed by Swim England. This means they have to meet certain standards to ensure fair competition. The English swimming licensed meets calendar contains a range of meets designed to give all registered swimmers a chance to compete.
Once our swimmers are Cat 2 registered and members of the Comp A or B squads, they are eligible to compete in open meets.
